Four (or Five!) Reasons Why

1. We’re going on vacation. Given the snow, snow and even more snow in our part of the world, it will be a welcome respite to sip on drinks with little umbrellas in them as opposed to drinking scalding hot beverages in paper cups that cause all kinds of problems in you put one of them between your legs while you pay the drive-through person.

2. It’s good to take a digital break once in awhile. You can’t be connected all the time, right? Once in awhile, you’ve got to disconnect from the grid, turn off the Blackberry, and take an e-mail holiday. No better way to escape the rat race than not knowing what’s going on.

3. It gives us time to recharge the creative juices. Coming up with this stuff is hard work. Okay, it’s not that hard but you try doing it every day. It’s like having to brush your teeth except it takes a little more time, doesn’t involve personal hygiene and each post is kind of different as opposed to brush, rinse, floss, brush, rinse, floss.

4. It will give all of you an excuse to miss us so that when we’re back, everyone will be so excited, you’ll tell your friends about us, traffic will boom, and we can quit our day jobs and live off all that advertising revenue that will flow in. Gee, we’re not even officially on vacation yet, and the daydreaming has already started!
